About this product
Pricing a used car is still mostly guesswork. Owners look at a few classified ads and pick a number, buyers have no easy way to check whether an asking price is fair, and showrooms and inspection centers often value cars by hand, on paper or in spreadsheets. In a large market like Saudi Arabia, that means slow negotiations, inconsistent prices and little transparency for anyone on either side of the deal.
Virtus Auto is a used car valuation platform built for the Saudi Arabian market. A user enters a vehicle through a 7-step evaluation wizard (specifications, condition, body and paint, interior and exterior, history, external factors and damage images), and the platform produces a printable Vehicle Indicative Price Report in Saudi riyals, with additions, deductions, a final price and a QR code. It also includes a car parts pricing section to support repair-cost estimates, an evaluated cars registry, separate account types for showrooms, centers and individuals, and an Arabic/English interface. It is built with ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework Core.

How it works
- The user registers as a showroom, center or individual and logs in.
- They click Add New Car and complete the seven-step wizard, from VIN and specifications to condition, history and damage images.
- The platform's valuation algorithm applies additions and deductions to calculate an indicative market price in SAR.
- The user opens the Vehicle Indicative Price Report, prints it or shares it through the QR code.
- Every evaluated car is kept in the registry, where reports can be reopened later.
Ways to monetize
The seller suggests B2B subscriptions for dealers and centers, dealership partnerships, paid valuation reports, API access and custom solutions for fleet operators. The site already has Subscriptions and Expert Consultation entry points that a buyer could turn into paid plans.

Good to know
- Coming soon, not built. The services page marks Public Auctions and AI-Powered Evaluation (image-based damage detection) as "Under Development". The seller describes AI as a concept and lists auctions and image damage assessment as future opportunities, so treat them as roadmap items.
- Valuation logic. The report is based on user-entered data and states that the price is indicative, not a guarantee or an approved inspection. Ask the seller how the algorithm and its depreciation rules work and what market data feeds the prices.
- Depreciation. Depreciation shows up as additions and deductions in the evaluation summary; no separate depreciation screen appears in the screenshots.
- Revenue. No revenue, user numbers or traffic are stated. Treat this as a software asset rather than an operating business.
- Database. The seller lists "SQL" without naming the engine. SQL Server is the usual pairing with Entity Framework Core, but confirm it with the seller.
- Accounts. You will need your own hosting for an ASP.NET application, a database server and a Brevo account for email.
- Market data. Prices are in SAR and the brand, model and parts data are set up for Saudi Arabia. Confirm with the seller where the parts prices come from and whether that data is included.
- No mobile apps. This is a website only; no iOS or Android app is included.
