About this product

Golf is played in foursomes, but plenty of golfers don't have three people to play with. Others have a regular group that keeps dropping to two or three. A tee time with open spots usually gets filled with strangers who may play at a different pace or want a completely different round. Golfers looking for partners end up relying on club noticeboards, group chats or luck.

OUR 111 is a golf partner matching app that fixes this with algorithmic pairing. Every golfer builds a Golf Profile describing their playing style and round preferences. Every open round then shows a % match score, so golfers can find a compatible foursome, request to join or join instantly, and host their own rounds to fill empty spots. It's branded as "Coachella Valley's smart golf network" and comes with a catalog of 72 golf courses, an admin console, and mobile apps for iOS and Android plus a web/PWA version.

Features

Golf Profile and match scoring

  • Playing Style (e.g. networking)
  • Round Preferences such as pace (e.g. relaxed), walking or cart, music, social play and friendly bets
  • % match scores comparing each round with the golfer's profile, so people play with golfers who share their pace, personality and style
  • A "Match My Vibe" onboarding flow

Join a round

  • Browse open rounds and sort by % match, distance or date
  • Round cards show the course, date, tee time, green fee, cart or walking, distance, open spots and host
  • Round detail pages include the course address, a View Course Website link, a Book Tee Time link, the host's profile and the host's notes
  • Request to Join, or join instantly when the host allows it

Host a round

  • Golf course autocomplete from the facilities catalog
  • Date, tee time, price and walking or cart
  • Golfers confirmed (e.g. 1 of 4) to show how many spots are open
  • Join Instantly on/off: let golfers join right away, or approve each request
  • Optional notes for the group
  • Join requests and round capacity are managed automatically

Admin console

  • A dashboard showing total rounds, upcoming rounds, active rounds with open spots, pending join requests awaiting host action, total users and the facilities count
  • Rounds management
  • Facilities management (create and maintain golf courses; 72 are included)
  • Users review
  • Join requests processing
  • Admin actions are enforced by PostgreSQL security controls and privileged database functions, not only by client-side checks

Apps and notifications

  • A responsive, mobile-first web app that also installs as a PWA
  • iOS and Android apps built with Capacitor
  • Push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging
  • Join, Host, Play, Profile and Admin tabs
  • Terms of service and privacy policy pages

Who it is for

  • Golf clubs, resorts and course operators that want to fill tee times and build a community
  • Golf communities, leagues and travel operators in any market, such as Scottsdale, Myrtle Beach, Florida, the Algarve or Dubai
  • Entrepreneurs launching a golf buddy or tee-time social app
  • Founders building an activity-matching platform. The same model of profiles, preferences, hosts, participants, locations and schedules extends to pickleball, tennis, padel, hiking, cycling and other group activities.

Ways to monetize

A buyer could add premium memberships (e.g. priority matching or unlimited hosting), course and resort partnerships, tee-time booking referrals, sponsored rounds and events, or local golf advertising.

How it works

  1. The golfer signs up and completes a Golf Profile with playing style and round preferences.
  2. They browse open rounds ranked by % match, or sort by distance or date.
  3. They open a round, check the course, tee time, price, host and notes, and request to join (or join instantly).
  4. Hosts create rounds with open spots; the app handles requests and capacity.
  5. Admins oversee rounds, courses, users and join requests from the console.

Technology

React · TypeScript · Vite · Supabase (Auth, PostgreSQL, Row Level Security, privileged database functions) · PWA · Capacitor (iOS and Android) · Firebase Cloud Messaging

  • Application source code: web/PWA, iOS and Android
  • Admin system
  • Database schema and migrations
  • Configuration and integration requirements

Good to know

  • Market. The app is currently configured for the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs area). Launching elsewhere means loading that region's courses into the facilities catalog and rebranding.
  • Payments. Green fees are displayed on each round, and tee times are booked through each course's own booking link. No in-app payment flow is described, so confirm with the seller if you need one.

Documentation

A golfer creates an account and completes a Golf Profile describing playing style and round preferences. Available rounds are presented with match information, location, date, tee time, price, transportation type, host and open spots. A golfer can open a round, review its details and request to join.

A host creates a round by selecting a golf facility, date, tee time, price, transportation preference, available player capacity and optional notes. Join requests are managed through the application.

The backend uses Supabase/PostgreSQL with authentication, Row Level Security and protected administrative database functions. React/TypeScript provides the responsive application interface, while PWA/mobile infrastructure supports deployment beyond a conventional desktop website.

The included admin system provides operational control over rounds, facilities, users and join requests.

Frequently asked questions

What is OUR 111? +
OUR 111 is a golf partner matching app. Golfers create a Golf Profile with their playing style and round preferences, then find open rounds ranked by % match. They can request to join or join instantly, and they can host rounds to fill empty spots in their foursome. It runs on the web as a PWA and on iOS and Android.
How does the golf partner matching work? +
Each golfer's profile records their playing style (e.g. networking) and round preferences such as pace, walking or cart, music, social play and friendly bets. Open rounds are scored against that profile and shown with a % match, and golfers can sort by match, distance or date.
Can hosts control who joins their round? +
Yes. When creating a round, the host sets the course, date, tee time, price, walking or cart, how many golfers are confirmed, and whether others can join instantly or must send a request for approval.
What can the admin manage? +
The admin console shows total, upcoming and active rounds, pending join requests, total users and the facilities count, and lets admins manage rounds, golf facilities, users and join requests. Admin actions are protected by PostgreSQL row-level security and privileged database functions.
Can it be used for sports other than golf? +
Yes. The core model of users, profiles, preferences, hosts, participants, locations, schedules and join workflows can be adapted to pickleball, tennis, padel, hiking, cycling or other group activities, turning it into a broader activity-matching platform.
What tech stack is it built on? +
React, TypeScript and Vite on the front end; Supabase with PostgreSQL, authentication, row-level security and privileged database functions on the back end; Capacitor for the iOS and Android apps; and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications.
