The Process

How Sell My App works

Four simple steps from first email to bank credit. Most deals close in under three weeks.

01

Fill the form below

Verify your work email with an OTP, then walk through 7 short steps describing what you built — the form remembers your answers as you go.

02

Demo on AnyDesk or Meet

15–30 minute live walkthrough. Camera off, no introduction needed. Show admin panel, user flow, backend, and deployment.

03

We evaluate & quote

Within 48 hours of the demo we email you a fair price based on functionality, code structure, scalability, and market fit.

04

We buy — you get paid

Sign the sale agreement via tokenised link. Payment via UPI, bank transfer, Wise, PayPal, or crypto — your choice.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Built for developers who value privacy

Many of our sellers are still employed elsewhere. We've built every step around protecting your identity, your codebase, and your transaction history.

  • No real name required at submission
  • No public listing — your app never shows up on the marketplace
  • Camera off on demo calls — voice + screen share is enough
  • NDA before any private credentials change hands
  • Transaction details never disclosed to your employer or anyone else
  • Single point of contact — one acquisition lead from start to finish
Day-by-Day

What happens after you submit

Typical timeline from form submission to payment. We move fast and keep you informed at every step.

  1. 1

Day 0 — You submit the form

You receive an instant email with a 6-digit submission ID and a copy of our confidentiality promise. Your private demo credentials (if shared) stay encrypted until NDA is signed.

  2. 2

    Day 1–2 — Demo scheduled

Our acquisition lead reads your submission and emails 2–3 demo time options. Pick what works. We use AnyDesk for screen-share or Google Meet for video — your call. Camera off is the norm.

  3. 3

Day 2–4 — The demo + first questions

15–45 minute walkthrough. Show the admin panel, user flow, backend logic, database structure, deployment. We may ask follow-up questions over email.

  4. 4

    Day 5–7 — Internal evaluation

Our team reviews code structure, scalability, market fit, and revenue (if applicable). We benchmark against comparable acquisitions to land on a fair offer.

  5. 5

    Day 7–10 — Offer sent

You get an offer email with the price, payment method options, what's included in the sale, and the proposed timeline. You can accept, counter (up to 3 rounds), or decline — no pressure.

  6. 6

    Day 10–14 — Sign & get paid

You sign the sale agreement via a tokenised link (no account needed). We send payment via your chosen method — UPI, bank transfer, Wise, PayPal, or crypto. Funds usually arrive within 1–3 business days.

  7. 7

    Day 14+ — Handover & 30-day support

Hand over admin credentials, domain transfer (if included), and documentation through a secure vault link. Default 30-day support window with a 48-hour weekday SLA for setup questions.

Start Your Submission

Verify your work email to begin

We use email-OTP to keep submissions serious and to scope a single conversation. Free webmail (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) is not accepted.

We only accept domain emails to keep fake sellers out. Your address stays with a single acquisition lead — never shared, never listed publicly. Promise — it’s safe.

FAQ

Sell My App — your questions, answered

Will my current employer find out?
No. Sell My Code never publishes your submission, never reveals seller identity, and never shares any transaction detail outside the small acquisition team. Only your acquisition lead sees the full record. We sign an NDA before any private credentials change hands.
Do I need to show my face on the demo?
No. Our demos are screen-share + voice. AnyDesk has no video at all. Google Meet works camera-off. You can use any name you'd like to be called.
What email should I use?
A corporate / domain email — your own product domain, a side-project domain, or a paid email host like ProtonMail / Fastmail. Free webmail (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, etc.) is rejected at submission to keep submissions serious. If you don't have one, register a domain — it's about $10/year.
Why do you need a working demo?
We only buy products that work end-to-end — admin panel, user flow, backend, database, deployment. No half-built apps, no abandoned repos, no "almost done" prototypes. The demo is how we verify completeness.
How fast is the evaluation and offer?
Evaluation typically takes 48 hours after the demo. Offers follow within a week. Most deals close in under three weeks from first email to bank credit.
How do you decide the price?
We weigh four things: functionality (does it work end-to-end?), code structure (maintainable? scalable?), traction (live users? revenue?), and market fit (how much demand for this category?). Most deals land between $500 and $50,000, with the typical range $5–15k.
How and when do I get paid?
After both parties sign the sale agreement, we initiate payment via your chosen method — UPI, bank transfer, Wise, PayPal, or crypto. Funds typically arrive within 1–3 business days. We send a payment confirmation email with the reference number.
Do I have to transfer source code?
By default the handover is the running product — admin credentials, accounts, domain, data, design assets, documentation. Source code transfer is only included if explicitly negotiated during the agreement step.
